Modern insan mevcut kaotik durumunu nas\u0131l a\u015facakt\u0131r? Bunun yolu modernli\u011fi geride b\u0131rakmak ve kutsal zamana yeniden entegre olmaktan ge\u00e7er. Modern insan, s\u00f6zde keyf\u00ee ilerleme y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnde bir basamak olarak var olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131; tersine, ger\u00e7ekten var olamayan inorganik bir anomali oldu\u011funu idrak etmelidir. Eliade\u2019nin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinin postmodernizm \u00fczerindeki etkisi, insan\u0131 \u00f6zg\u00fcn varolu\u015f kipini yeniden ke\u015ffetmeye zorlamas\u0131d\u0131r. \u0130nsan, bir mikrokozmos olarak anla\u015f\u0131lmal\u0131d\u0131r. \u201cSadece\u201d insan olarak varolu\u015fun egzistansiyalizmi, arkaik mitte tamamlanmas\u0131n\u0131 bekler. Mitlere kat\u0131l\u0131m, insan\u0131 <em>illo tempore<\/em>\u2019ye\u2014tanr\u0131lar\u0131n mitsel zaman\u0131na\u2014ta\u015f\u0131r ve b\u00f6ylece varolu\u015fu gerek\u00e7elendirilmi\u015f olur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eliade, insan\u0131n d\u00fcnyaya \u201cyeniden a\u00e7\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131\u201d savunur. Modern insan, kendisinin \u00fcretti\u011fi de\u011ferlerin \u00f6tesinde herhangi bir metafizik de\u011feri reddetti\u011fi i\u00e7in d\u00fcnyaya kapal\u0131d\u0131r. \u0130lerleme suna\u011f\u0131na sunulan buhur da\u011f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ke\u015ffetti\u011fimiz \u015fey \u015fudur: \u0130nsan, metafizik de\u011feri b\u00fct\u00fcn\u00fcyle kendi ba\u015f\u0131na \u00fcretemez. Modern insan tam anlam\u0131yla insan de\u011fildir. Belki de bu, Mircea Eliade\u2019nin ya\u015fam\u0131 ve eserlerinden \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131labilecek en \u00f6nemli sonu\u00e7lardan biridir.
